GANES

an cunta che

© Claudia Höhne

Ganes have been travelling their musical world together since they were children. The sisters Marlene and Elisabeth Schuen and their cousin Maria Moling grew up in La Val, an enchanted village in the South Tyrolean Dolomites (ITALY). So far away from sizzling cities, so close to the wild, untamed heart of nature. The big world was boxed in a small universe. And it called for each of those three women, encouraging them to explore it.

Together they performed at Hubert von Goisern’s stage ship during the Linz Europe Tour, together they let their ideas and inspiration grow. They became those fairies, singing in many voices – they became GANES. With their roots in their Ladin home, united in their language, blessed with the opportunity to learn how to fly.

September 30, 2016, is the release date of their latest album „an cunta che“, inspired by the Ladin world of fairies and magical tales. Deeply involved in the mystic world of the Fanes-saga, Ganes take the ancient vibes into today’s world. Old and new are standing face to face, forever connected, but viewed from a new perspective.
