Digital Edition 2020

This year we would have celebrated our 40th anniversary, but unfortunately had to cancel due to the Covid-19 pandemic. Nevertheless we honor this memorable event with a "Digital Edition".

On our YOUTUBE-CHANNEL you will find:

• A Mahler Lieder recital by the renowned baritone Thomas Hampson, accompanied by Wolfram Rieger, recorded in 2018 at the Gustav Mahler Music Weeks
• Greetings from personalities of the "Mahler world" - e.g. Mahler's granddaughter Marina Mahler German, Italian, French, Spanish, English
• Video clips about the history of the festival, a first insight into a film about the Gustav Mahler Music Weeks planned for 2021.
• A Slideshow in English, German and Italian about important orchestras and conductors who have visited us over the years.
• Further historical concert recordings of the festival can be accessed at Südtirol in concert
